Michael Hurley's Winning Ways

It looks like Michael Hurley won the Winter Weather Warrior Contest in pretty much the manner than this blog suspected. From the most recent Washcycle on Capital Bikeshare:
They've seen a 30% rise in ridership since October despite winter (and possibly because of the Winter Warrior Contest. For those wondering how Michael Hurley won, Moskowitz reported that Hurley rides very short trips. So it may be that he rides for 5 minutes, checks in a bike and then checks one out).
This was really the only conceivable way he could have done it. I applaud his ingenuity and effort. I'd still really like to read an interview with him and am especially curious about his daily route, which stations he used and how much time he actually sacrificed by going out of his way to dock and undock every five minutes.
